I am a certified yoga teacher from the London based Triyoga Studio, one of the most highly regarded, comprehensive and rigorous teacher training programmes in Europe.

My Approach & VALUES

I aim to teach as an act of deep sharing and love for what yoga develops in each individual to inspire a persons’ inherent potential by facilitating space to open and challenge oneself in a safe and nurturing environment.

The method in which the classes are taught focus on alignment, precise instruction and accessibility. The classes are less focused on acrobatic postures as an end in themselves, but emphasise on becoming engaged, attentive and integrated by exploring breath, body and mind. As it’s not so much what it looks like on the outside, but what it feels like on the inside.

Accessibility and Community

I believe yoga is for every one and everybody, regardless of age, ethnicity, size, gender, fitness or lifestyle and aim to build a welcoming community.

Light-heartedness

I take what I do seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously.

certifications & qualifications

During the teacher training I was drawn to other specialisations and furthered my certifications in Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Back Care and Mindfulness Meditation. This keeps me eager to continuously learn not only as a teacher, but always as a student.

2018-2021

Yoga Teacher Training Diploma (350hr), accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Alliance Professionals, Yoga Alliance UK & Yoga Alliance USA.

The asana component was taught by senior yoga teacher Anna Ashby, founder of the training programme, and senior yoga and pilates teacher Tony Watson.

The anatomy and physiology modules were taught by osteopath Chris Swain, and the philosophy by Professor Carols Pomeda, previously a Swami and Tantra philosophy expert as well as Daniel Simpson, teacher at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies.

During my 2-year training I was drawn to a series of niches and furthered in certifications in Restorative Yoga with Anna Ashby, Yoga for Back Care with Anji Gopal, and Mindfulness Meditation with Cyndi Lee.

The CPD (Continual Professional Development) totals to 437 hours.

A glimpse of me

I’m forever drawn by the poetry and beauty of nature

My family describe me as ‘blissfully distracted’

My childhood dream professions were to be an archaeologist (biggest Jurassic Park fan ever) a veterinarian and a ballet dancer – and I stick to it

Luxury brand marketing and events specialist gal in a past life

I see magical beauty where others may see the humdrum of daily life

I approach life with thoughtfulness, empathy and guided to offer harmony

Incessantly seeking hidden meanings and distant possibilities

You can often find me daydreaming or fantasizing about different ideas or scenarios

I range from quietly caring, to brightly gregarious

Oh, and as an Italian, I only started eating Parmigiano at 22! - Silly me!

I’ve always cultivated a deep fascination for ancient history in Asia, and it was by practicing Yoga that I recognised my endless curiosity behind the postures. I quickly realised I needed to delve in the origins, philosophy and practices.

What also captivated me about yoga is not only the way I felt during and after a practice but ever since the first class, it was the strong sense of belonging that began to envelop me. It was through the teacher training that the teachings of yoga tradition brought a profound effect in my life. I never knew my calling exactly but I always knew that I am drawn in helping people. I crave opportunities to learn and grow alongside the persons that I hope to help. I finally feel that I can contribute to the well-being of an individual on a personal level. It is through the practice of yoga and meditation that I find ways to direct my energy and creativity towards helping others. I’ve been told to put my voice and aptitude for storytelling to good use, so it feels nothing short of a dream come true to be able to do this through my classes. I aim to teach as an act of deep sharing and love for what yoga develops in each individual to inspire a persons’ inherent potential that expands their awareness beyond their physical form. Yoga transformed my life; I am only at the beginning of this journey, and it is with so much dedication and passion that I hope I can transpire its teachings to my students in a similar experience.

It was through the pandemic that I was forced into redundancy and move out of London. It challenged me to take a leap of faith within myself, put my abilities as a student and teacher to a test and translate my passion into knowledge, making yoga my full-time profession. I cannot begin to describe how frightening and incredibly rewarding this journey has been and still is.

I am thrilled you are here and looking forward to getting to know each other! Grab your mat and let’s practice together. We will navigate how the power movement and breath can help us shift toward self-enquiry, hopefully leaving us feeling grounded and connected to ourselves.
