Yoga focusing on alignment


Yoga practice which focuses on alignment and the fine details of yoga postures and breathing, working on both your body and the mind.

Generally, the yoga class starts with meditation and pranayama (manipulation of the breath) and warm-up postures, followed by standing and seated asanas, and a relaxing savasana to finish.

Open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced as adaptations are offered according to the students.


CLASS DESCRIPTION


  • You’ll hold postures longer than in a flowing vinyasa class, so you can explore the technical aspects and the effects internally.

  • Open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced as variations are offered according to the students.

  • 15 minutes of the class will be dedicated to winding down, guaranteeing restoration and an environment of calmness pre yoga and post yoga practice.

  • If you are new to my classes, kindly get in touch before joining. This is not mandatory, however, it gives me the opportunity to welcome you and how we can work together on the mat.

  • I hold classes with up to 10 people so I can best tailor modifications and alignment cues to the best of my abilities.
